Why do they do what they do?
"Years ago, we were interviewed for a radio show. The host asked us, 'Why do you do what you do?' Though we'd been singing together for several years by then and had already put out three CDs, we really had to stop and think about the question. Did we each have some life-changing experience? Did thunder sound and lightning flash? Did we witness a vision? ...have a dream? No, no, no and no. "All three of us were born and raised Catholic. Each of our families has deep roots in the Church and have always been active in their parish community. Each one of us has had our share of life experiences -- some good, some not so good. But each one of us has continuously been drawn to be faith-filled and to live out that faith. As a result, the question we wound up asking ourselves and the host was, 'Why wouldn't we do what we do?' "We're just three ordinary guys, each doing his best to love God with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength; and to love his neighbor as himself. Our music is one way for us to do that." |
